![]() ![]() Inevitably I think i'm going to perform a clean install anyways but in the meantime here's years of kexts and plists and everything else under the OS X sun to pick your brains.īluetoothAudioPlugIn: Version: 1.0 - SDK 10.9ĭigidesignLoader: Path: /Library/StartupItems/DigidesignLoader I have kept it running at all times on my second desktop since noticing. I've been experiencing pinwheels and sleep freeze and very slow performance and occassionally kernal panics (though i won't pretend to know exactly what i'm talking about, n00b here).įor instance I found that this old daily-build version of XBMC seems to block the sleep freeze somehow, and i see it in red in the EtreCheck but would love to know exactly WHY running this program seems to block the sleep freeze at the cost of much of my speed. I've found some weird stuff seems to fix some of my problems. I'd like to learn a bit about the changes that have occured to the software over the years (or atleast how to fix the problems it's caused). I have noticed a lot of people popping up in here with seemingly ANCIENT components to OS X running still from old versions of the operating system that were previously installed (like me). Since installing Mavericks (and having my system unusable for a moment there) I started reading about the problems and trying to solve them with quick fixes and reading a lot of these support forums in the process. I updated to Leopard and then Snow Leopard and then to Mavericks. As i said in the subject this machine came with OS X 10.4.1 installed, more recently I've been learning a LOT more about Mac and Mavericks seems to have changed quite a lot about the OS. ![]()
